WinterCamp2025 Permission Form
Circle Ten Council’s annual Winter Camp at Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp is a special jamboree-style camping event for Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, and Sea Scout Ships.
It is the largest annual event put on by Circle Ten Council and is staffed by Circle Ten’s Mikanakawa Lodge 101 of the Order of the Arrow.
- Units camp jamboree style with multiple units in a single campsite.
- The chance to make new friends from outside your immediate Scouting circle is one of the key rewards.
- Food is prepared by each unit in their campsites with option to pay for a staff prepared Dinner on Day 4.
Each morning, Scouts can:
- Work on merit badges
- Participate in C.O.P.E. (NEW THIS YEAR* for Scouts age 14+)
- Take part in special living history programs in the Mountain Man area (14+)
- Learn new program skills or participate in a training
Afternoons offer a wide-range of activities including:
- ATV experience (*NEW THIS YEAR* – 14+ and certification required)
- Competitive games and sports
- Range and target activities
- Climbing and repelling
- Activities in the living history areas – Indian Village, Lumberjack, Mountain Man
- Branding
- Trail rides
- Pen making
- Ziplining (*NEW THIS YEAR*)
- And more!
Evenings include special events like:
- Opening Night Campfire – Day 1
- An OA Brotherhood Walk – Day 2
- A movie night – Day 2
- A Camp Staff Reunion / Honor Society Social – Day 3
- Cowboy Action Competition – Day 3
- Staff hosted Camper Dinner (TBD) – Day 4
- Closing Night Campfire – Day 4
- Star watch parties – nights vary depending on weather
- Or just relaxing in the campsite around the campfire
Please note: Some Merit Badges and other activities have extra fees in addition to the basics. Horseback riding is offered first-come, first-served and is not available for early registration. Please review the Leader Guide.
All Winter Camp attendees must be a currently registered Scout or Scouter in a Scouts BSA troop, Venturing crew or Sea Scout ship!

Includes Gas – $10, Food – $75, Adult support – $50, and Registration – $85
